This limited-edition map print represents 1,500 years of agricultural, recreational and industrial water use in Phoenix, AZ from 450 AD to present in 8 combined layers. This map plots ancient canal irrigation of the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People (also known as the Hohokam), the original Phoenix townsite, modern canals, the Central Arizona Project, recreational lakes and ponds and semiconductor fabrication facilities that each use 4-5 million gallons of water per day.
