This laser-etched cactus ornament features an Organ Pipe cactus (Stenocereus thurberi) that actually exists somewhere in Phoenix (you’d have to get the Phoenix Cactus Map to find it). Why settle for all those cactus products and decorations made in the UK or China? This one actually represents the real beauty of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, found right here on our city streets.

The Organ Pipe is one of many cacti that are native to Arizona. To see them in-person, visit the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Southern Arizona. It’s a wonderful place to see these cacti in their natural environment but for now, you can settle for one as a holiday decoration! Each ornament is laser-etched and cut in my own workshop from repurposed clipboards found at local Phoenix thrift stores. Not only are you adorning your tree with handmade, cactus love, but you’re helping waste to be repurposed!
