This laser-etched cactus Christmas ornament features the iconic Saguaro cactus (Carnegiea gigantea) that actually exists somewhere in Phoenix (you’d have to get the Phoenix Cactus Map to find it). Why settle for all those cactus products and decorations made in the UK or China? This one actually represents the real beauty of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, found right here on our city streets.

The Saguaro is one of many cacti that are native to Arizona. They can be found all over the Phoenix area but especially when you get out of the city for a hike! These slow-growing beauties make a home for many wildlife and provide medicine and sustenance from their fruit. Each cactus Christmas ornament is laser-etched and cut in my own workshop from repurposed clipboards found at local Phoenix thrift stores. Not only are you adorning your tree with handmade, cactus love, but you’re helping waste to be repurposed!
