Siasconset Wedding Map

This colorful custom wedding map was made to be a giveaway gift for all wedding guests traveling to scenic Nantucket Island, on the eastern edge in Siasconset (or 'Sconset). In a town where bright flowers adorn every trellis, each home is painted only with certain approved historic colors. We celebrated the love for local maritime history, nature and the beach in a map that could become a keepsake of the event and something to remember this special occasion. With the help of iNaturalist, I had a good time researching some of the native plants in the area, to adorn the coastal walking path. The compass rose I created for this map is one of my favorites! It includes scallop shells, grey wood shingles, roses and native flowers.
